Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar browser storage are small files a website can ask your browser to keep. Here is exactly what this website stores, what it does, and how to change your mind.

1. The short version
This website uses one piece of strictly necessary browser storage to remember your cookie choice. It contains no personal information. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use behavioural tracking, and we do not use third-party analytics.
2. What we store
Strictly necessary — always active
- yoyums.cookie-consent.v1
- A single entry in your browser's local storage. It records only whether you accepted or declined optional content, and the date you chose. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it holds no personal information. It exists purely so the consent banner does not ask you the same question on every page. Without it, the banner cannot work.
Optional — only with your consent
- Embedded Google map
- The Visit section contains a map served by Google. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may set its own cookies and will receive your IP address and information about your browser. It loads only if you choose "Accept all" on the banner, or if you press the "Load the map" button yourself. If you decline, no request is made to Google at all — you will simply see the shop's address instead.
3. What we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No cross-site behavioural tracking.
- No third-party analytics or heat-mapping scripts.
- No social media tracking pixels embedded in our pages.
4. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent whenever you like. Either use the button below, or select Cookie preferences in the footer of any page.
Withdrawing consent stops the optional map from loading on your next visit. To remove the stored entry completely, you can clear site data for this website in your browser settings.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data, usually from its privacy or security settings. You can also set your browser to send a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal; because we do not track you in the first place, we treat those signals as simply confirming your preference not to be tracked. Blocking strictly necessary storage will mean the consent banner reappears on each visit, but nothing else on the site will stop working.
6. Why we ask at all
Missouri does not currently require a cookie banner. We show one anyway, because visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom and California may be entitled to be asked before non-essential content loads, and because we think it is the honest way to run a website. The banner gives you an equally clear way to say yes or no, and nothing optional loads until you decide.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever add a new cookie or storage item, we will list it on this page and change the date at the top.
